Recuperators / Regenerators

Salvors reduce fuel consumption by using the waste heat recovered from the flow of gas output of gas turbines old, the lowest efficiency. This typically increases the efficiency of the turbine at 10%.

As salvors existing installed in the old gas turbines that provide service to the stations working pipeline compression beyond its service life, requires new units. These gas turbines "advantageous" to require use of a recovery in order to maintain reasonable efficiency compared with the newer high efficiency units available.

GEA specializes in the design, manufacture, supply and construction of heat exchangers plate and tubes used to increase the fuel efficiency of gas turbines in the former through a heat recovery of waste (referred to in the industry as salvors and regenerators).
