Utilizing this quality service helps to secure a long life of high performance for your cooling tower and insures that any structural or mechanical difficulties are identified and addressed before they become structural or mechanical disasters.

Preventive Maintenance The standard Periodic Maintenance program includes:

Inspection of motor, shaft, key and keyway, drive shaft and couplings, and drive shaft flex elements
Taking alignment measurements
Realignment of motor and gearbox to manufacturers specifications
Complete gearbox maintenance including: input bearing test, high speed pinion test, output bearing test, visual inspection of gears, exterior cleaning and inspection for leaks, oil change
Inspection of mechanical hardware for wear
Inspection of fan components
Verification of fan blade pitch, tracking and tip clearance
Retightening of fan components as needed
Retightening of mechanical hardware to specific torque values
Realignment of components of the fan as needed.
Realignment of mechanical components to the values of torque needed.
Complete documentation of work with recommendations for any further needed repairs

Vibration trending and analysis includes:

Taking baseline fan readings
Balancing fans as needed
The taking of new baseline readings after any remedial work is done
Extensive reports containing spectrum analysis plots and recommendations for any needed remedial work are provided to the customer
